What domain names are supported by wildcard domain name certificates?

The certificate of this site supports wildcard domain name certificates. Users can use wildcard domain name certificates to protect a single main domain name of the server and all subdomains of the same level under the main domain name. Both wildcard DV type and OV type certificates support wildcard domain names.
If you have multiple subdomain nameservers at the same level, using a wildcard domain name certificate eliminates the need to purchase and install a separate certificate for each subdomain name.
When purchasing a wildcard domain name certificate, you need to pay attention to the rules of the wildcard domain name certificate matching the domain name:
* Wildcard domain name certificates can only match subdomains at the same level, and cannot match across levels.
For example: the domain name certificate of *.example.com matches abc.example.com, sport.example.com, good.example.com, etc.
Subdomains, but do not match subdomains such as mycard.good.example.com, mycalc.good.example.com, etc.
*.good.example.com matches subdomains such as mycard.good.example.com, mycalc.good.example.com, etc.
* The domain name supported by the wildcard domain name certificate includes the first-level domain name.
* The wildcard domain name certificate only supports one wildcard primary domain name, and does not support multiple primary domain names.
* The wildcard domain name certificate currently only supports wildcard domain names and does not support common domain names (non-wildcard domain names).
